About the Supervisor
James Satcher is the Supervisor of Elections for Manatee County. Mr. Satcher was
appointed by Governor DeSantis in 2024. His public service includes as a former
member of the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners, where he also
served as the Chair of the Manatee Port Authority and the Tourist Development
Council and as a member. Active in his community, he has led a successful nonprofit
with more than two decades of ministry. Satcher earned his bachelor’s degree in
communications from Berry College. He and his wife Monica live in Ellenton
and have 6 children together.
