The Florida State Association of Supervisor of Elections will award (3) three $1,200.00 scholarships in 2020. The scholarship recipients will be notified in May of 2020. Applicants must be registered voters in Florida, have lived in the state for at least the preceding two years, have maintained at least a “C” average and submit their application in the county in which the student is registered to vote
Applicants must have been accepted or enrolled as a full-time student in a senior college or university in Florida and completed two years of junior college or undergraduate work. Students who apply must be either a Political Science, Public/Business Administration, or Journalism/Mass Communication major.
Scholarship applications must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2020 in the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections office: 600 301 Blvd. W., Suite 108, Bradenton.

The Supervisor of Elections Office will review all applications, interview students and select only one (1) student to proceed forward. That student's application with our written recommendation of the applicant and verified voter registration will then be forwarded on to the Scholarship Chair. Upon their final conclusion the Scholarship Committee will announce the scholarship recipients in May of 2020.
